Meet our 'Floating Leaf' Tray
A Flesh & Blooms original design and an all around hybrid: inspired by a piece of vintage ceramic-created with concrete-a bit of a tray, a bit of a bowl!
We have finally come to the realization that we absolutely love fusing the sleekness of ceramic with the raw aesthetic of concrete. Our intent when designing this piece was to create something with an organic shape, something sleek yet sizable, durable and functional, thus the 'Leaf' Tray was born.
◆This piece has a soft and curvy contour that is entirely unique and an absolute rarity in concrete wares. Its center has a very faint raised line like that of a leaf's vein, which further adds to the organic appeal.
◆This vessel can be interpreted as either a tray or a shallow bowl, as it has both the lengthy flat surface of a tray and slightly raised and rounded edges reminiscent of a bowl. This design lends much versatility in uses-
‣a gorgeous and convenient way to keep remotes and other misc. items on your coffee table neat and tidy (an absolute dream!), a convenient catchall bowl for your entryway to toss keys, loose change, sunglasses, etc., a classy serving tray to place in the center of your table at a gathering to hold appetizers, like nuts, cheese, olives, etc. This one piece has so many uses....it is what you want it to be!
